GUU Jewelry Reviews: Is GUU Legit? An Honest Look (2026)
Recent GUU jewelry reviews are mostly good. In the 3 months to October 26, 2026, The GUU Shop got 93 Trustpilot reviews averaging 4.5, and 85% of them were 5-star. GUU is a real, US-based store that ships what you order, so whether it's legit isn't really the question. The 1-star reviews, about 12%, point to the two things worth checking before you buy: what metal your piece is made of, and what GUU's warranty actually covers.
We sell moissanite tennis chains too, so read this with that in mind. Every GUU fact below comes from GUU's own pages or its Trustpilot profile, read on October 26, 2026. Where GUU beats us, we say so.
Key takeaways
- GUU is legit. It has a claimed Trustpilot profile, a US return address in Henderson, Nevada, and 93 Trustpilot reviews in the last 3 months, averaging 4.5.
- GUU's 5-star share is higher than ours (85% vs 82%). Its 1-star share is higher too (12% vs 7%), and none of its 11 recent 1-star reviews had a public reply.
- Metal depends on the listing. GUU's moissanite tennis chains list 925 sterling silver. Its 8.5mm moissanite Cuban lists copper. Many cheaper GUU pieces are CZ on alloy.
- GUU's lifetime guarantee is narrower than it sounds: one free exchange for defects, tarnish and accidental breakage excluded, and a 50% repair fee after that. Moissanite pieces are final sale at GUU, as they are with us.
- On price, a 5mm, 20-inch moissanite tennis chain is $659 at GUU and $454.99 at Adamans, listed prices on October 26, 2026.
Is GUU jewelry legit?
Yes. The GUU Shop (theguushop.com) is a real, operating jewelry store, not a scam site. Here's what we could check ourselves:
- A US address. GUU's refund policy gives a return address at 573 N Stephanie St, Henderson, Nevada, plus a support email and phone number.
- A claimed Trustpilot profile. GUU has claimed its profile, listed in the US, so it can see and answer reviews there.
- Steady recent reviews. GUU got 93 reviews in the last 3 months, and 85% were 5-star.
So if you order from GUU, you'll get a package, and most recent Trustpilot reviewers are happy with it. The useful questions are what the piece is made of and what happens if it breaks or fades. That's what the rest of this review covers.
What recent GUU jewelry reviews say
All-time scores mix in orders from years ago, before either brand's current products, staff and policies. Reviews from the last 3 months represent the up-to-date experience of ordering from each brand today, so that's what we compare. We used Trustpilot's own "Last 3 months" filter on October 26, 2026, counting reviews in every language, so you can check the numbers yourself.
| Trustpilot, last 3 months to Oct 26, 2026 | GUU (theguushop.com) | Adamans |
|---|---|---|
| Reviews posted | 93 | About 310 |
| Average rating | 4.5 | 4.6 |
| 5-star | 79 (85%) | About 82% |
| 4-star | 3 (3%) | 25 (8%) |
| 3-star | 0 | 10 (3%) |
| 2-star | 0 | 1 (under 1%) |
| 1-star | 11 (12%) | 21 (7%) |
The averages are close. GUU gets a bigger share of 5-star reviews than we do, which is a real win for them. Its reviews are also more split: almost nothing in the middle, and a larger share of 1-star reviews. Here's what those 11 one-star reviews say, in our own summary:
- Warranty refused or charged. The most common complaint. Five reviewers say GUU wouldn't replace a broken or faded piece under its lifetime guarantee, or asked them to pay a fee first.
- Metal fading. Four reviewers say the metal faded, discolored or turned their skin green within weeks. Two of them question whether the piece was really sterling silver.
- Breakage. Three reviewers say a clasp, chain or pendant broke within the first month.
- Delivery and sizing. One reviewer says an order didn't arrive in time for a birthday. One says they picked the wrong bracelet size themselves.
None of the 11 one-star reviews had a public reply from GUU when we checked. Read them yourself on GUU's Trustpilot page and ours. We get 1-star reviews too, and we go through them in our Adamans reviews post.
Is GUU jewelry real silver?
Some of it is. The answer depends on the listing, so read the Material line on every product page before you buy:
- Moissanite tennis chains: 925 sterling silver. GUU's 4mm and 5mm moissanite tennis chain listings (the ones with "925S" in the title) say "Genuine 925 Sterling Silver" with a white gold or 18K gold finish, D color VVS1+ moissanite, and a GRA certificate for 3mm and larger stones. That's a good spec.
- Some moissanite Cubans: copper. GUU's 8.5mm moissanite Cuban link chain lists copper as the material, with a white gold finish. The title doesn't say "925S," and that's the clue.
- Budget pieces: CZ. GUU's tennis chain section is mostly CZ on gold-plated alloy, priced from about $24 to $231. CZ looks bright at first but won't pass a diamond tester.
On metal, GUU's moissanite tennis chains beat ours on paper. The Material line on our moissanite chains lists 18K white gold plating, and we'd rather tell you that here. Our moissanite pieces are D color VVS1 moissanite with a GRA report, and they pass a standard diamond tester. We also sell a cheaper simulant line, and the product title tells you which is which. If you want to check a GRA report yourself, our guide on how to tell a real GRA report from a fake walks through it.
GUU vs Adamans: prices side by side
GUU's moissanite tennis chains come in 4mm and 5mm, from 18 to 24 inches, and both widths cost the same at each length. We compared the 5mm, the width both brands sell. Prices are each brand's listed price on October 26, 2026. GUU's homepage was running a flash sale with a countdown timer that day, so its prices may change.
| 5mm moissanite tennis chain | GUU | Adamans |
|---|---|---|
| 18 inch | $599 | $449.99 |
| 20 inch | $659 | $454.99 |
| 22 inch | $729 | $459.99 |
| 24 inch | $799 | $469.99 |
| Metal (as listed) | 925 sterling silver, white gold or 18K gold finish | 18K white gold plating |
| Stones (as listed) | D color VVS1+ moissanite, GRA certificate | D color VVS1 moissanite, GRA report |
| Other widths | 4mm (same prices as 5mm) | 3mm, 6mm, and a 10mm clustered chain |
We're cheaper at every length in that table, by $204.01 at 20 inches and $329.01 at 24 inches. Part of that gap is the metal: sterling silver costs more than a plated base. If you want a smaller chain, our 3mm Moissanite Tennis Chain is $368.99 at 20 inches, against $659 for GUU's 4mm at the same length. Not sure on width or length? Our tennis chain size guide shows how each width looks on the neck.
GUU wins at the low end. Its CZ tennis chains and bracelets start at about $24, and it ships free on orders over $30. Our free US shipping starts at $100.
How long does GUU take to ship?
GUU's pages give two different answers. Its shipping policy says orders ship within 48 hours, and US standard shipping takes 6 to 8 business days, with DHL and FedEx express options at 3 to 5 business days. Its FAQ page says orders ship within 3 working days from "different fulfillment centers," and that average shipping time is about 7 to 20 working days. If you need a piece by a certain date, pay for express and ask GUU where your order ships from.
A few other terms from the same pages: GUU can only cancel orders within 12 hours, it isn't liable for parcels the carrier marks as delivered, and it offers optional Route insurance at checkout.
For us: in-stock pieces ship from our US warehouse, and most US orders arrive in 1 to 2 business days. Orders placed before 2pm ET on a business day ship the same day, and US shipping is free over $100. If a piece isn't in US stock, it ships from our UK warehouse and takes 5 to 10 business days, with duties paid by us. We say so on the product page before you buy. If a courier marks a parcel delivered and you don't have it, tell us within 48 hours and we open the claim with the courier.
GUU returns and warranty
Returns
GUU's refund policy gives 30 days from delivery on unworn items in their original packaging. You pay return shipping, and refunds carry a 15% restocking fee (store credit doesn't). Once GUU approves a return, you have 5 days to send it. The big exceptions: GUU lists "Enamels, 925s and Moissanite" items as final sale, along with grillz, watches, custom, solid gold and made-to-order pieces. So a moissanite tennis chain from GUU can't be returned.
Ours is the same on that point: our moissanite pieces are final sale. Custom and made-to-order pieces, earrings and grillz can't be returned either. In-stock pieces from our CZ & Metal Alloy and Silver & 18k Vermeil lines can be returned within 14 days for a refund (with a 15% restocking fee) or 90 days for an exchange or store credit. With both brands, check your size before you order.
Warranty
GUU's "Lifetime GUU Guarantee" covers gold plated and vermeil jewelry. If a piece arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, you get one free exchange. The policy says the guarantee is voided by "user damage," which it lists as tarnish, scratches, accidental breakage and water damage. After the first exchange, further repairs cost 50% of what you paid. Lost or stolen items aren't covered. That lines up with the warranty complaints in GUU's recent 1-star reviews.
Every Adamans piece comes with a lifetime warranty card. If a piece fails, we repair it or replace it with the same item. The warranty covers manufacturing defects (including clasps, links and settings), breakage during normal wear, fading, discoloration or tarnishing of the finish, and loose or lost stones. It doesn't cover deliberate damage, loss or theft, or damage from chemicals like chlorine and bleach. Claims go to hello@adamans.com with your order number and photos, and we reply within one business day.
Before you buy from either brand: read the Material line and the warranty page, and screenshot both. If something goes wrong in a year, that's what you'll be held to.
GUU or Adamans: who each one suits

Choose GUU if you want a sterling silver moissanite tennis chain, a cheap CZ piece to try the look, or free shipping on a small order, and you're fine with a narrow warranty.
Choose Adamans if you want D color VVS1 moissanite with a GRA report for less, delivery in 1 to 2 business days in the US, and a lifetime warranty that covers finish wear and lost stones in writing. Our 10mm Moissanite Clustered Tennis Chain is our best seller if you want something bigger than a standard tennis chain. We've done the same kind of review for Harlembling.
