Ice Cartel Reviews: Is IceCartel Legit? An Honest Look (2026)
Recent Ice Cartel reviews are mostly positive. In the 3 months to October 26, 2026, IceCartel got 120 Trustpilot reviews averaging 4.3, and 72% of them were 5-star. IceCartel is a real company that ships from Los Angeles, so it's legit. The 1-star reviews, 10% of the total, mostly come back to one thing: orders that took weeks, or came from overseas, when the buyer expected a fast US delivery.
We sell moissanite tennis chains too, so read this with that in mind. Every IceCartel fact below comes from IceCartel's own product pages and policies or its Trustpilot profile, read on October 26, 2026. Where IceCartel beats us, we say so.
Key takeaways
- IceCartel is legit. It has a claimed Trustpilot profile, a Los Angeles shipping base, and 120 Trustpilot reviews in the last 3 months, averaging 4.3.
- Its 1-star reviews (12 of 120) are mostly about delivery: 5 of the 12 describe long waits or orders shipped from overseas. None of the 12 had a public reply when we checked.
- IceCartel's moissanite tennis chains list 925 silver with 14K gold bonding. That's a better listed base metal than ours. Our moissanite chains list 18K white gold plating.
- IceCartel takes back unworn in-stock pieces within 14 days, for store credit or an exchange only. We don't take back moissanite at all, so IceCartel wins on returns.
- Our lifetime warranty covers more: breakage, fading and lost stones. IceCartel's policy treats tarnish and stones lost through wear as normal wear.
- On price, a 5mm, 20-inch moissanite tennis chain is $930 at IceCartel and $454.99 at Adamans, listed prices on October 26, 2026.
Is Ice Cartel legit?
Yes. IceCartel (icecartel.com) is a real, operating jewelry store, not a scam site. Here's what we could check ourselves on October 26, 2026:
- A US shipping base. Its product pages say in-stock pieces ship from Los Angeles, California, and its shipping policy says most items ship from its California warehouse.
- A claimed Trustpilot profile. IceCartel claimed its profile in March 2024 and pays for a Trustpilot subscription, which the profile shows.
- Steady recent reviews. 120 reviews in the last 3 months, with 86 of them 5-star.
- Clear stone labels. IceCartel tags its cheaper pieces "CZ" on the product cards, so you can tell its cubic zirconia line from its moissanite line before you click.
So if you order from IceCartel, you'll get a package, and most recent reviewers are happy. The better questions are where your piece ships from, what it's made of, and what happens if you want to send it back. That's what the rest of this review covers.
What recent Ice Cartel reviews say
All-time scores mix in orders from years ago, before either brand's current products, staff and policies. Reviews from the last 3 months represent the up-to-date experience of ordering from each brand today, so that's what we compare. We used Trustpilot's own "Last 3 months" filter on October 26, 2026, counting reviews in every language, so you can check the numbers yourself.
| Trustpilot, last 3 months to Oct 26, 2026 | IceCartel (icecartel.com) | Adamans |
|---|---|---|
| Reviews posted | 120 | About 310 |
| Average rating | 4.3 | 4.6 |
| 5-star | 86 (72%) | About 82% |
| 4-star | 14 (12%) | 25 (8%) |
| 3-star | 3 (3%) | 10 (3%) |
| 2-star | 5 (4%) | 1 (under 1%) |
| 1-star | 12 (10%) | 21 (7%) |
IceCartel gets a bigger share of 4-star reviews than we do. Over this window our average is a little higher: we get a bigger share of 5-star reviews and a smaller share of 1-star and 2-star reviews. Here's what IceCartel's 12 one-star reviews say, in our own summary:
- Delivery (5 reviews). Orders that took weeks to arrive or hadn't arrived yet. One reviewer says their order shipped from Nanning, China, though the site said California. Another says the overseas shipment meant their order didn't qualify for a return.
- Customer service (3 reviews). Unanswered messages about exchanges, and conflicting answers on the phone.
- Quality for the price (2 reviews). One about a 10mm Cuban link, one about a chain that didn't hang straight.
- Refunds (2 reviews). Buyers who wanted their money back and were offered store credit or a repair instead.
None of the 12 one-star reviews had a public reply from IceCartel when we checked, though all of its 2-star and 3-star reviews did. The recent 5-star reviews mention fast shipping, smooth ordering, helpful staff in its custom department, and good packaging. Read them yourself on IceCartel's Trustpilot page and ours. We get 1-star reviews too, and we go through them in our Adamans reviews post.
Where does IceCartel ship from?
Mostly Los Angeles, but not always. That's the detail behind most of the bad reviews, so it's worth reading closely.
- In-stock pieces. The tennis chain page says "Ships today from California, USA!" Standard US shipping is free and takes 2 to 5 days. Expedited (2 days) is $37.53 and Next Day Air is $81.29. Order before 1 PM Los Angeles time for same-day dispatch.
- Out-of-stock and made-to-order pieces. IceCartel's shipping policy says these "may be shipped from our overseas facilities," and that this isn't a reason for a refund. Made-to-order pieces take 3 to 6 weeks.
- Sold-out "in stock" items. Its refund policy says that if an item listed as in stock has sold out, the order goes into the manufacturing queue, can't be refunded, and loses the 14-day return guarantee.
So the fast shipping in the 5-star reviews and the slow shipping in the 1-star reviews can both be true. It depends on whether your exact piece is sitting in Los Angeles when you order. If timing matters, ask IceCartel before you pay.
For comparison, our in-stock pieces ship from our US warehouse and arrive in 1 to 2 business days, free over $100. If a piece isn't in US stock, it ships from our UK warehouse in 5 to 10 business days, and we tell you that on the product page and in your order confirmation. We pay the duties. Full details are in our shipping policy.
Is IceCartel jewelry real silver?
For its moissanite pieces, IceCartel says yes. The Item Details on its 3mm and 5mm moissanite tennis chain say "Made from 925 Silver," with "Premium Gold Bonding" over it: a multi-layer PVD coating in white gold (rhodium), 14K yellow gold or 14K rose gold, depending on the item. The stones are listed as moissanite of VVS clarity that passes a diamond tester. IceCartel cites the FTC's Jewelry Guides on the same page, which is a good sign.
Its cheaper chains are a different product. Cards labeled "SILVER FINISH, CZ" are cubic zirconia, not moissanite. CZ looks bright at first but won't pass a diamond tester. IceCartel labels them clearly, so check the tag on the card.
On base metal, IceCartel's moissanite chains beat ours on paper. The Material line on our moissanite chains lists 18K white gold plating, and we'd rather tell you that here than have you find it later. Our moissanite pieces are D color VVS1 moissanite with a GRA report, and they pass a standard diamond tester. If you want to check a GRA report yourself, our guide on how to tell a real GRA report from a fake walks through it.
Does Ice Cartel jewelry tarnish?
The product page says the chain is "Fully sweat & waterproof - will never tarnish." Its refund policy is more careful. It calls scratching, discoloration and tarnish from everyday wear "expected wear, not a defect," and says tarnished plated pieces can usually be replated by a local jeweler. Plating on any brand's chain wears over years of daily use. What matters is who pays when it does. More on that in the warranty section below.
Ice Cartel vs Adamans: prices side by side
IceCartel's moissanite tennis chain comes in 3mm and 5mm, from 16 to 26 inches. Prices below are each brand's listed price on October 26, 2026. IceCartel's pages showed every price next to a struck-through price twice as high, with "50% OFF" badges, so its prices may change.
| Moissanite tennis chain | IceCartel | Adamans |
|---|---|---|
| 3mm, 20 inch | $800 | $368.99 |
| 5mm, 18 inch | $870 | $449.99 |
| 5mm, 20 inch | $930 | $454.99 |
| 5mm, 22 inch | $980 | $459.99 |
| 5mm, 24 inch | $1,040 | $469.99 |
| 10mm clustered, 20 inch | $2,090 | $779.99 |
| Metal (as listed) | 925 silver, 14K gold or rhodium bonding | 18K white gold plating |
| Stones (as listed) | Moissanite, VVS clarity, passes diamond tester | D color VVS1 moissanite, GRA report |
| Lengths | 16 to 26 inch | 16 to 24 inch (3mm), 18 to 24 inch (5mm, 10mm) |
We're cheaper at every size in that table: by $475.01 on the 5mm at 20 inches, and by $1,310.01 on the 10mm clustered chain at 20 inches. Part of that gap is the metal, since a sterling silver base costs more than a plated one. IceCartel also wins on lengths. It sells 16 and 26 inch versions of the 5mm, and we don't. Not sure which width or length suits you? Our tennis chain size guide shows how each width looks on the neck.
Ice Cartel return policy: what you can send back
This is where IceCartel beats us, with some fine print. Here's how the two policies compare, as written on October 26, 2026:
| Policy | IceCartel | Adamans |
|---|---|---|
| Return a moissanite chain you don't like | Yes, within 14 days of delivery, if unworn and in stock from the US warehouse | No, moissanite pieces are final sale |
| What you get back | Store credit or an exchange. No cash refunds. | On returnable pieces: a refund (15% restocking fee) within 14 days, or a free exchange or store credit within 90 days |
| Return shipping | You pay, tracked and insured | You pay |
| Arrived damaged, defective or wrong | Repair, replacement or exchange, free, on every order | Covered by the lifetime warranty |
| Cancel after ordering | Can't cancel or edit. A 10 to 20% cancellation fee may apply. | In-stock orders can't be cancelled once placed |
| Custom pieces | Non-refundable once production starts. CAD fees non-refundable. | Custom and made-to-order pieces can't be returned |
If you might change your mind about a moissanite chain, IceCartel gives you a way out and we don't. Just know it's store credit, not your money back, and it only applies to pieces that shipped from its US warehouse. Our full terms are in our refund policy.
Ice Cartel warranty vs our lifetime warranty
IceCartel's warranty tab promises a free replacement or repair if your order "arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect." Its refund policy then lists what it doesn't cover:
- Stones lost through normal wear. Not covered for return, but IceCartel ships replacement stones for free so a local jeweler can reset them.
- Tarnish, discoloration and scratching from wear. Treated as expected wear. It suggests replating at a local jeweler.
- Damage you cause. Drops, impact and DIY resizing aren't covered.
Our lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects, breakage during normal wear, fading, discoloration or tarnishing of the finish, and loose or lost stones. We repair the piece or replace it with the same item. It doesn't cover deliberate damage, repairs by anyone else, loss or theft, or damage from chemicals like chlorine and bleach. To claim, you email us your order number, photos, and a photo of your warranty card. We think that's the bigger deal over years of wear, because fading and a lost stone are the two things most likely to happen to any plated chain.
Before you buy from either brand: check where the exact piece ships from, read the Material line on the product page, and screenshot the return and warranty terms on the day you order. Policies change, and the version you bought under is the one you'll want later.
Who should buy from IceCartel, and who should buy from us
IceCartel suits you if you want a 925 silver base, you want a 16 or 26 inch tennis chain, or you want the option to swap an unworn in-stock piece for store credit. Its site also offers custom pieces in solid 14K or 18K gold.
Adamans suits you if you want the lower price on a moissanite tennis chain, a warranty that covers fading and lost stones for life, and fast US delivery on in-stock pieces. We compare the two brands across more categories in Adamans vs IceCartel.
